The Queensland Tennis Centre offers high-quality tennis coaching programs for children and teenagers aged 3 to 16, catering to all skill levels from beginners to aspiring professionals. Our junior group coaching sessions are designed to provide personalized attention, ensuring each student can reach their full potential and enhance their skills.

The experienced and nationally accredited coaches at the Queensland Tennis Centre take pride in guiding our junior coaching development pathway. This pathway follows Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots philosophy, utilising modified courts and balls to provide children with the opportunity to serve, rally, and score right from the beginning of their tennis journey.

Jump into the excitement of tennis with Hot Shots Red Squads – a fun, play-based introduction to the sport for kids that turns tennis fundamentals into an engaging experience. Through interactive games, young players develop key skills such as throwing, catching, ball tracking, and accurate striking. Lessons focus on teamwork, encouraging full participation and plenty of opportunities to refine skills. As Red Ball players advance, they begin exploring court strategy and rallying techniques. The comprehensive curriculum covers all essential tennis strokes, providing a strong foundation for their journey. Join us for a dynamic mix of learning and play, making tennis an enjoyable adventure for our Red Ball players.

Serving takes center stage, with a strong emphasis on perfecting technique. For an extra challenge, join Junior Fixtures for added excitement. Hot Shots Orange Squads combine technique and strategy, offering a dynamic journey filled with power, precision, and the excitement of the game.

Green Squad

ENCOURAGE

Take your tennis game to the next level with Hot Shots Green Squads, where developing players transition to a full-size court. Designed for both seasoned Hot Shots players and newcomers, Green Ball lessons focus on refining skills and mastering advanced techniques such as topspin and slice. We combine technical expertise with tactical insight, helping players become well-rounded competitors. Green Ball players are also encouraged to participate in Junior Fixtures, providing a competitive edge and an enriched tennis experience. Join us in a vibrant environment that balances skill development with the enjoyment of the game.

Teen Squad

12 – 17 Years | 60 Minutes | Full Court | 1:6 Ratio

ENHANCE

Whether you’re new to tennis or an experienced player, our program caters to all skill levels. We customise our approach to meet individual needs, continuously assessing and adjusting throughout the term. For more advanced players, we move beyond the fundamentals, helping you adapt to various tennis scenarios and enhance your decision-making in competitive matches. You’ll gain a well-rounded experience by playing both singles and doubles, learning essential tactics and strategies. We also highly encourage joining Friday Night Fixtures for an extra dose of fun and challenge. It’s tennis made accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

$30 per week*

TERM 1, 2025 – ENROL NOW

*Payments can be made by direct debit with both fortnightly and quarterly payment options; alternatively, upfront credit card payments are also available. Transaction fees are payable on both options (see the registration page for details).

$50 for the 2024 Club Membership is payable for all coaching and fixture players.

By enrolling in our classes, you are committing to a service contract for a complete term and agreeing to the QTC Policies.

Please note, classes will be held as per schedule only if a minimum number of players are enrolled in the class.
